What kind of place should I take my car to get the window repaired?

It is a manual window - NOT electric.  I currently have a pole jammed inside holding up the window regulator to keep the window closed.  Without it, the window just slides down to the half-way open position.   I'd fix it myself but I am at a point where I cannot see what's going on inside to figure it.  I can barely get my own hands in there, and I'm petite in build!

I took off the paneling to see if I could find any broken plastic clips and I didn't see any lying around at the bottom of the door.  The construction of the door is such that I cannot easily access the route that the cables take, or even see them!  I think that the cables are off track and tangled at the mechanism where the hand crank is.  The crank won't turn, either.

I don't think I need to go to a dealer for this, as this car just topped 120,000k miles and is nearly 13 years old.  Dealers are expensive.  Should I take it to a cheaper auto mechanic or does it need to go to a place that does windows and windshields?

I work for a glass co.it sounds like the regulator is cable driven and the cable is snapped.depending on the type of car you have, the cost of repair could be any where from 60 to 300 to replace.take to a glass replacement shop, they usually will give a free est.
